The night was long. The stars were bright.
We wrote a word. The word was light.
夜は長かった。星は明るかった。
ぼくらは一つの言葉を書いた。その言葉は光だった。
Kai was walking. Bird was singing.
The same old world, but something was new.
We found a flight in the golden morning.
"By the way," said Bird, "I was waiting for you."
カイは歩いていた。バードは歌っていた。

金色の朝、ぼくらは乗れる便を見つけた。

We were excited. We were ready.
Actually, we were a little afraid.
The airport lights were gold and steady.
This was the road our words had made.
ぼくらはわくわくしていた。準備はできていた。
実は、少しだけ怖かった。
空港の明かりは金色で、静かに灯っていた。

We were small, but we were brave.
